Eastern Bloc Vehicle Weekend – Fri – Sun, 11 – 13 May 2018.
Based on Llangollen – as well as road runs through spectacular North Wales scenery, the weekend includes visits to the National Cold War Exhibition, Llangollen Motor Museum, Llangollen Railway (steam service), canal trip over Pontcysyllte aqueduct and Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker. Join us for all or part of this great weekend of Eastern Bloc motoring.
Iron Curtain Vehicle Rally – Sat and Sun, 14 and 15 July 2018.
Foxfield Railway, Blythe Bridge, near Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
Ever-popular event, and a permanent fixture in our calendar.
Saturday: road run into neighbouring Staffs Moorlands and Peak District.
Sunday: rally of ‘Iron Curtain’ classic vehicles in front of the station.
Camping available from Friday evening alongside the station. Station bar open late into the evenings.

After a few years elsewhere, the Club is looking forward to returning to this popular venue. The day will include a run out for our Eastern Bloc classics and vintage bus rides around the local area. Club members have the additional delight of the IFA Club AGM (likely to be held on a bus!).
All Club events are open to any vehicle designed / built by those Eastern Bloc regimes behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War period (includes vehicles sharing some pedigree with those vehicles).
