9th & 10th July 2022 – Based in the historic county town of Stafford, Staffordshire, UK.

    • Entry to the Really Retro Show on Sunday is ticket only!  The club has a number of these which will be allocated free to members on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis.  We will confirm via email if you have been allocated a ticket.

Friday:
Early arrivals staying friday night are free to enjoy the local town venues.  Please let Alex Goffe (web[@]ifaclub.co.uk) know if you would like recommendations or join an informal meal & drinks.

Saturday:
Morning
Group meet at the Premier Inn North car park for the start of the road run to Aldridge Transport Museum (Walsall) where we’ll enjoy this unique collection of historic vehicles, its £5 per head which includes Tea/Coffee and guided talks. The entry cost goes directly to the work of this museums collection – a great initiative to support!

Afternoon
Road run through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside to Cannock Chase  area of outstanding natural beauty where we will have photo opportunities on rural roads.  We will also stop off at the German Military Cemetery, last resting place for WW1 & WW2 service personal .  Finally we will stop off at Hixon Airfield (now an industrial estate) home to both fighters and bombers during WW2.  The original control tower and runway still stands – photo opportunity.


Evening
For those who wish to join Club members for food & drinks, we will be going to Anatolian Palace Turkish Restaurant in Stafford, then onwards for drinks in town.

Sunday:
Group meet after breakfast at the Premier Inn North car park for the start of the road run to the town of Penkridge for the Really Retro Show 2022.  The Club has attended previous years where there has been a huge turnout of classic and modern classic cars, trucks, vans and bikes.

The club has won both 3rd and 2nd prize in the previous years – can we make it 1st prize in 2022?

Really Retro ’22 brings together Retro and Classic Car enthusiasts to create the midlands finest static Retro Car Event with vehicles from the 1930s up to 2000!
